Bridge maintenance will close one of two northbound lanes on U.S. 23 near Monroe Street in Sylvania for about six hours today, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

Work will start about 9 a.m. and end by 3 p.m. Southbound traffic will not be affected.

City of Toledo officials, meanwhile, announced Tuesday that lane closings that began Monday on Hill Avenue between Reynolds and Byrne roads and on Nebraska Avenue between Detroit Avenue and Collingwood Boulevard both will continue for several months.

Water line replacement and resurfacing will reduce Hill to one lane each way through August, while resurfacing will reduce Nebraska to one lane each way until early July.
