Way library to host book sale

Sleep seminar by Mercy to take place Monday

Way Public Library will host a book sale from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday to take advantage of crowds in downtown Perrysburg drawn to the Perrysburg Farmers Market and Music at the market event the same day. The library has thousands of books available and encourages shoppers to come early for the best selection. Admission is free, it costs $15 for a large bag of books and $5 for a small bag. Books also can be purchased individually. Proceeds will benefit the library.

Mercy hospitals will host a talk at the library at 7 p.m. Monday to focus on sleep and sleep disorders. Michael Neeb, PhD, of Mercy will have an education program called “Running on Empty: The Importance of Sleep.” He has experience in the field of sleep medicine, insomnia, pediatric sleep, circadian rhythm disorders, and sleep and public safety. No registration is required for the free program. There also will be free blood pressure screenings offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
