Oasis driver assaulted early Friday morning

An Oasis driver was robbed of the pizza he was to deliver early Friday, police said.

The driver, Tyler Stamitoles, was making a delivery to 527 Foredale Ave. in South Toledo at 4:45 a.m. when he was grabbed from behind and assaulted, police said.

The assailants fled with his money, wallet, and food bag.

Description of the robbers was not provided.

The robbery is the second of a delivery driver in as many days. On Thursday, a driver for Vito’s car was taken by a suspect in the 600 block of Congress Street.
