It is accessible from both Conant Street and Illinois Avenue.

“The new Appliance Center Outlet will feature a mixture of last year’s inventory, slightly blemished, and overstock inventory,” co-owner John Oswald said.

“It will truly be a very fun shopping experience with items for every room in your home.”

The outlet store will sell furniture, appliances, mattresses, cabinetry, flooring, and electronics.

The grand opening begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and continues Sunday.

Mr. Oswald said the event is a way to thank the community for supporting the locally owned company.

The stores will be giving away more than $30,000 in merchandise, including appliances, televisions, furniture, and cabinetry.

Drawings are to take place hourly both days.

The celebration also includes live music and refreshments.

Jim Grzywinski, general manager of the Appliance Center, said the company has added about 15 people because of the second store.

The company has about 130 employees.

Mr. Grzywinski said the portion of the original store that displayed overstocked or blemished merchandise will now feature an expanded flooring and carpeting section.
