It is the final week of the season, Perrysburg pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day until Sunday to let residents get their last splash of the summer.

Attendance appeared to be down at the pool, at 915 Elm Street, probably due to relatively cooler weather this summer.

“We haven‘‍t had a long streak of 90-plus degree days,” said Steve Shives, executive director of the Fort Meigs YMCA in Perrysburg, which operates the pool through the city. “It has been a cool summer and attendance numbers are down a little.”

Officials will know the exact attendance figures after the pool closes Sunday. Mr. Shives said the pool was closed several days this season when temperatures dipped below 68 degrees and it rained in the evenings.

Authorities also closed the pool from Aug. 2 to Aug. 4 because of the water crisis.

Jon Eckel, the director of public services for the city, said it was closed as a precaution. Officials did not want to draw microcystin-contamined water from Toledo’‍s municipal water system to fill the pool, he said.

“Always unhappy to see summer go,” Mr. Eckel said about the pool closing.
