Meat recall made by Elmore campany

Tank’‍s Meats, of Elmore, has issued a voluntary recall of its beef pastrami, cooked corned beef and various sausage products because they weren’‍t inspected by state inspectors and/or they were misbranded, the company said.

There have been no reports of illnesses related to the meat, the company said.

Packages subject to the recall are marked with “76” inside an Ohio inspection mark. The Andouille sausage and Italian sausage with cheese and whole fennel that are being recalled were manufactured between July 15 and Aug. 13 and their packages will contain a four-digit lot code between 4257 and 4286.

The cooked corned beef being recalled was produced between July 16 and July 30 and its packaging will contain a lot code number between 4258 and 4272. All beef pastrami, regardless of lot code, is subject to the recall.
