Bridge work will reduce I-475/U.S. 23 to a single lane — first southbound, later northbound — near the State Rt. 25 interchange in Perrysburg for four of the next five weekends, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

This weekend and next, southbound I-475/U.S. 23 will be involved. From 7 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Monday, one of two southbound lanes will be closed for deck resurfacing on bridges over Fort Meigs Road and the CSX Transportation railroad.

After a hiatus for the Labor Day weekend Aug. 30-Sept. 1, the same work will be done on the northbound side during the first two weekends of September, ODOT said.

Nighttime lane closings continue on I-475/U.S. 23 in that area for pavement and bridge repairs and resurfacing.
