Local woman will stay on state appraiser board

COLUMBUS — Elizabeth A. Sigg, founder of Northwest Real Estate in Defiance, was recently reappointed by Gov. John Kasich to the five-member Ohio Real Estate Appraiser Board.

She received a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor’s degree from Albion College. Her new term will last through June 30, 2017.

The board, under the umbrella of the Ohio Department of Commerce, regulates state-certified appraisers and investigates complaints. Members are paid only for sessions attended at $199.12 per meeting and are reimbursed for travel expenses.
