Collingwood Boulevard detour to last 2 weeks
8/25/2014Collingwood Boulevard reconstruction will close southbound Collingwood between Central Avenue and Islington Street for about two weeks starting today, the city transportation division announced.
Traffic will be detoured via Central, Detroit, and Delaware avenues. Northbound traffic will be maintained on Collingwood.
Sewer construction, meanwhile, will close Nebraska Avenue between Erie and Division streets for four weeks, starting today, with a detour via Collingwood and Erie.
And in South Toledo, Glanzman Road will be closed at the railroad crossing near Beverly School for 12 days, starting at 9 a.m. today, for railroad work. No detour route will be posted; the closest alternative railroad crossing is on Byrne Road between Copland Boulevard and Glanzman.
