TIFFIN — Heidelberg University will do a nationwide search to replace Provost David Weininger, who has announced his retirement at the end of the academic year.
Mr. Weininger also is vice president of academic affairs for Heidelberg.
Mr. Weininger was hired as assistant professor of mathematics in 1985 and became a full professor with tenure six years later. He was named vice president for academic affairs in 2007 and two years later became provost.
