Police set auction for abandoned vehicles
9/2/2014The Toledo Police Department on Saturday will hold its third auction of abandoned and forfeited vehicles this year.
The auction will feature about 100 vehicles and five sets of rims. The sale will take place at the city’s impound lot, 198 Dura Ave., and starts at 11 a.m. with registration at 9. A full list of available vehicles is available at toledopolice.com.
All sales must be paid by cash or check. Those paying with cash will receive their vehicle’s title at the end of the auction; those paying by check will receive the title in the mail within four weeks.
