Anthony Wayne Bridge construction coming along

Concrete patching on Anthony Wayne Bridge piers in East Toledo began Wednesday at the start of a two-month closing of Miami Street beneath the bridge. Between now and the Nov. 3 scheduled reopening, crews also will dismantle an approach span above Miami that is to be replaced as part of the bridge’s on-going $28.7 million overhaul.
