For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Chow chow, brown and white male, unlicensed; aggressive; surrendered Sept. 1 by Jean Clark, Woodville Road, Toledo.

Chow chow, brown and white male, unlicensed; failed behavior evaluation/body handling (four out of five on Sept. 6); surrendered Sept. 1 by Jean Clark, Woodville Road, Toledo.

Shetland sheepdog, black and tan female, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia (vomiting, weak, emaciated, positive for parvo); stray picked up by a control officer Sept. 7 from 136 Knower St., Toledo.

“Pit bull,” brindle male, unlicensed; fearful/unsafe (unable to remove from kennel); stray picked up by a control officer Aug. 29 from 500 Lotus Ave., Toledo.

“Pit bull” and boxer mix, brindle female, unlicensed; failed behavior evaluation/body handling (3 out of 5 on Sept. 7); stray picked up by a control officer Sept. 3 from 2028 Chase St.

Rottweiler, black and orange male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (old, cannot walk); surrendered Sept. 8 by Michael Cowdrey, Slater Street, Toledo.
