Sylvania downtown intersection reopens

8/20/2018

Sylvania’s central downtown intersection has reopened after two weeks of reconstruction.

The intersection of Main and Monroe streets closed Aug. 6 to be rebuilt as part of a larger project involving Main between Monroe and Ten Mile Creek.

Helms & Sons Excavating of Findlay must pave the surface layer through Main to finish the $789,924.43 project, as well as work on stoplights and pedestrian signals. The paving is planned to occur at night.
