Saturday's shooting victim shot once in the chest

A man who was shot and killed early Saturday morning suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to Lucas County Deputy Coroner Dr. Cynthia Beisser. 

Jerry McNeal, 31, was fatally shot Saturday and transported by a friend to an undisclosed hospital, where he died, according to Toledo police.

Officers were dispatched to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of Bigelow Street around midnight Saturday, but they did not locate a victim. 

The autopsy was completed Saturday, said Dr. Beisser.
