Free rides home provided to 85 people on New Year's Eve in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN – Organizers of the “Swallow Your Pride, Call for a Ride” announced the results of another popular New Year's Eve ridership program.

There were 85 rides home across 26 volunteer hours and two vans. Fifty-seven of the passengers were women and 28 men, according to Safe Communities of Wood County.

The group provided free rides late Sunday to early Monday in the Bowling Green area.
