'Yesterday the Sylvania Branch Library provided a safe, quiet place'

Since my divorce my income has been very low. However, education is a priority in our family and outside of public schools the library has provided a quiet place to read, study, do homework and research. The computers at the library help my children complete and print out homework assignments.

Library books, music CDs and movies provide free entertainment and relaxation for our family. My children and I have been without a permanent home for many months. The Library also provides a bathroom, a drinking fountain, pencil sharpeners and nice, soft couches to sit, relax and read.

Yesterday the Sylvania Branch Library provided a safe, quiet place for my children and I to rest and ponder as we had to leave our previous temporary home and relocate to a friend’s house.
