Outlaws at Eldora

The World of Outlaws Sprint Series will open Eldora Speedway s

2005 season with a two-night show tonight and tomorrow.

The total purse will be about $100,000, with the preliminary

feature a $5,000-to-win race tonight, followed by the main

event tomorrow night, worth $12,000 to the winner.

Eldora Speedway is about 2.5 miles north of Rossburg, Ohio,

about 150 miles southwest of Toledo. The gates open at 4:30

p.m. both nights with warm-ups and qualifying beginning at 6:30

p.m. and heats at 8 p.m.

Nextel Cup circuit star Tony Stewart purchased the high-banked, half-mile oval track last November. Ticket information is available at
