NWOAL: Bacon rushes for 5 TDs as Bryan routs Wauseon

Bryan 40, Wauseon 12

BRYAN -- Bryan's Colin Bacon ran 20 times for 132 yards and scored five touchdowns last night in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League battle.

Bacon (6-0, 3-0) tallied on runs of 8, 3, 7, 60, and 5 yards to help keep the Golden Bears.

Wauseon (3-3, 2-2) scored on a 97-yard pass from Ty Suntken to Logan Blue, and on Suntken's one-yard sneak, both in the second half.

Liberty Center 45, Swanton 0

LIBERTY CENTER -- Liberty Center got two touchdowns each from Tony Bias (25-yard run and 20-yard run) and Zach Niner (six-yard run and 11 yard run) last night.

Sean Westhoven (11 yards), Anthony Righi (nine yards), and Paul Clawson (one yard) completed the scoring for the Tigers (6-0, 5-0).

The Bulldogs are 1-5, 1-4.

Patrick Henry 46, Delta 0

HAMLER --Gabe Jones hauled in two touchdown passes of 36 and 14 yards from Anderson Okuley and added a two-yard scoring run for Patrick Henry.

Lucas Rosebrock rushed for 122 yards in 19 carries and two touchdowns, both on one-yard runs. Josh Peterson scored on a one-yard run and Nathan Andonian concluded the scoring with a three-yard run.

Okuley was 7 of 11 for 143 yards passing for Patrick Henry (4-2, 4-1).

PH had 294 yards rushing and 150 yards passing on 8 of 13.

Delta ( 1-5, 0-4) had minus-6 yards rushing and was 3 of 14 for 43 yards passing.

Archbold 34, Montpelier 12

MONTPELIER -- The Blue Streaks (5-1, 3-1) were led by sophomore quarterback Evan Wyse's three first-half touchdown passes as he was 9-for-17 with 172 yards in the air.

Two of the TD tosses went to T.J. Gerken with another going to Kolin Schilt. Gabe Rodriguez added a defensive score, while Danny Young added an 11-yard rush for a score.

Logan McKelvey threw for one score and ran for the Locomotives (0-6, 0-5). Adam Gilcher hauled in the 37-yard toss in the second quarter. McKelvey finished with 71 yards passing and 71 yards rushing.
