New classes give hope to college football programs

With their parents behind them, Whitmer seniors sign national letters of intent to play college football — from left, Leroy Alexander (Nebraska), Nick Logenbarger (Findlay), Mark Meyers (Michigan State), Storm Norton (Toledo), Jody Webb (Toledo) and Chris Wormley (Michigan). The Panthers finished 13-1, were ranked No. 2 in Ohio in Division I, and reached the state semifinals for the second straight year.
