The Mud Hens claimed an 8-3 victory over Columbus at Fifth Third Field today.

Shawn Teufel, who was promoted from Hi-A Lakeland to make the start, allowed just four hits and two runs in 5.2 innings to claim the win.

Toledo scored two runs in the second, one in the third and three more in the fourth to pull away for the win.

Brad Eldred and Ryan Strieby each had two hits and two RBIs to lead the offense.

The Mud Hens finish the three-game home series with the Clippers Monday starting at 6:30 p.m.
