Lake baseball season comes to a halt

ELIDA, Ohio - Lake's baseball season came to a sudden halt on Thursday against Bloom-Carroll.

The Flyers suffered a 16-6 defeat after Bloom-Carroll scored 12 runs during the top of the fifth in the Division III regional semifinal.

The game ended at the completion of the inning due to the 10-run rule.

The Flyers opened the game by taking a 4-0 lead.
