Kyle Nutter paced Genoa with 228 yards rushing and four touchdowns to give the host Comets a victory.

Nutter carried the ball 41 times and scored on runs of 1, 1, 4, and 5. Quarterback Logan Scott threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Casey Gose caught both Scott touchdown passes from 30 and 36 yards out. Genoa (6-0, 3-0) scored 24 fourth-quarter points to ensure a victory.

Otsego (3-3, 2-1) quarterback Ryan Smoyer passed for 413 yards and four touchdowns on 31 completions, connecting with Nate Hackworth for two scores and Jerome Griffin for two.
