AREA: Rockets rally from 19-0 deficit

Oak Harbor 42, Edison 33

MILAN, Ohio — Mark Konieczny scored three touchdowns as Oak Harbor rallied from a 19-0 deficit Friday night at Edison in a Sandusky Bay Conference game.

Konieczny scored on runs of 55, 1 and 35 yards, and finished with 28 carries for 307 yards. Konieczny finished with all but 17 of Oak Harbor's rushing yards. Austin Wiegand was 7 of 11 passing for 165 yards and one TD, and had two rushing TDs.

A.J. Cecil finished with seven receptions for 165 yards and a touchdown for Oak Harbor (4-1), which led 21-19 at halftime.

Storm Weimer scored two touchdowns and had 15 carries for 128 yards for Edison. Oak Harbor outgained Edison 489-413.

Ayersville 51, Holgate 14

Highland — The Pilots broke open an 8-7 lead at the half with three touchdowns in the third quarter and capping it with three more in the fourth.

Justin Flory rushed for 186 yards and three touchdowns while DJ Hagerman added 117 yards on the ground and two TDs while passing for 159 more yards.

The Tigers (2-4) got touchdowns from Chance Gray and Garrett Blakely. Gray finished with 65 yards on the ground while Blakely had six touches for 59 yards in the loss.
