NWOAL: Smith paces LC; Wyse leads Streaks

Liberty Center 62, Swanton 32

SWANTON — Jordan Smith scored four touchdowns and ran for 128 yards on 20 carries for Liberty Center in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League game.

Sean Westhoven also scored four TDs for the Tigers (5-1, 4-1 NWOAL) and finished with 17 carries for 126 yards.

LC had 391 yards rushing to Swanton's 270. Henry Elling scored a touchdown for Liberty Center

Swanton quarterback Andrew Foore scored three TDs, including an 86-yard kickoff return in the second quarter. Foore led the Bulldogs (0-6, 0-5) with 157 yards on 15 carries.

Thomas Bryant and Matt Rainey scored touchdowns for Swanton.

Bryan 34, Wauseon 17

WAUSEON — Austin Schimmoeller ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more to lift Bryan (6-0, 4-0).

Schimmoeller scored on a 20-yard touchdown, then connected with Derek Knisley for a 29-yard TD in the second quarter and found Collin Bacon for a 23-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Schimmoeller also scored on a one-yard run. He finished 11-for-17 passing with 204 yards. and had 20 carries for 149 yards

Ty Suntken scored two TDs for Wauseon (2-4, 2-2). Brock Minor also scored for the Indians.

Archbold 76, Montpelier 13

ARCHBOLD — Levi Wyse scored four touchdowns and ran for 203 yards for Archbold'.

Wyse opened the game with a 75-yard touchdown run, then scored on an 84-yard kickoff return in the first quarter. He had a 58-yard TD run in the second and a 70-yard TD run in the third.

Evan Wyse went 4-for-4 passing with 125 yards and two touchdowns — a 36-yard pass and a 49-yard pass to Lincoln Parsley in the second. Evan Wyse also scored on a seven-yard run.

Tyson Dietrich also had a 31-yard interception return for Archbold (5-1, 3-1), while Stephan Manahan scored two touchdowns.

Tyler Benner led Montpelier (2-4, 1-4) with 25 carries for 122 yards and two touchdowns and Jonuh Ramos had two catches for 53 yards.

Patrick Henry 40, Delta 13

DELTA — Tobey Hernandez ran only five times, but finished with 148 yards and three touchdowns as the Patriots rolled to a NWOAL road victory.

Hernandez scored on runs of 54, 45, and 6.

Calvin Palmer had an 11-yard scoring run, and Gabe Jones added a 14-yard touchdown pass to Logan Ziegler for Patrick Henry (6-0, 5-0 NWOAL).

The Patriots dominated 400-185 in total offense.

Mark Francis led Delta (1-5, 0-4) with 104 yards on 14 carries. Brendan Knopp and Dylan Nostrant caught touchdown passes from Jeffry McQuillen and Noah Parsons, respectively, in the fourth quarter.
