SEMICH: Bobcats blank Morenci; Mules top Monroe

Morenci, Mich. — Tyler Lee paced Whiteford with 12 carries for 88 yards and two touchdowns Friday night in Tri-County Conference.

Zach Perry added 65 yards and a rushing touchdown for the Bobcats (7-1). Lee ran in scores from two and 13 yards out and Perry scored from nine yards. Gabe LaRoy completed 7 of 12 passes for 98 yards and a 30-yard TD strike to Troy Diller. Diller also intercepted a pass and blocked a punt.

Whiteford held Morenci to only 88 total yards and zero passing yards.

Bedford 27, Monroe 13

MONROE, Mich. — Brad Boss and Alec Hullibarger paced a rushing attack for Bedford (5-3) in a Southeastern Conference.

Boss carried 21 times for 122 yards and two TDs (27 and 19 yards). Hullibarger added 116 yards on 28 carries and a six-yard TD run.

Weston Swick threw a 10-yard TD pass to Collin Carter to complete the Mules’ scoring.

Gaetano Paolino scored both TDs for Monroe (6 and 20 yards).
