BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team claimed a 63-53 victory over Lake Erie College in its season opener tonight at the Stroh Center.

The Falcons were led by Jordon Crawford, who scored a game-high 22 points and added five rebounds and four assists. BG didn't have anyone else score in double figures.

Lake Erie College, a Division II school located in the Cleveland suburb of Painesville, Ohio, was led by Riley Thomas, who had 11 points.
