Notes: The Falcons open the season with a home game against Madonna, an NAIA team located in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Mich. … Last season the Crusaders posted a 12-17 record, including an 8-10 mark in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. … Madonna, which has five seniors in its starting lineup, played an exhibition game at Eastern Michigan, losing 75-64. … Last season the two teams played at the Stroh Center, and BG claimed an easy 91-41 win on Dec. 21. … The Crusaders, who are picked to finish third in the league, had a pair of pre-season All-WHAC players in senior guard Michelle Lindsey, who averaged 13.1 points per game last season, and senior center Kaylee McGrath, who averaged 12.7 points and 6.8 rebounds a year ago. … This game will mark the debut of Jennifer Roos as head coach of the Falcons.
