Notes: The Falcons open the season with a home game against Madonna, an NAIA team located in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Mich. … Last season the Crusaders posted a 12-17 record, including an 8-10 mark in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. … Madonna, which has five seniors in its starting lineup, played an exhibition game at Eastern Michigan, losing 75-64. … Last season the two teams played at the Stroh Center, and BG claimed an easy 91-41 win on Dec. 21. … The Crusaders, who are picked to finish third in the league, had a pair of pre-season All-WHAC players in senior guard Michelle Lindsey, who averaged 13.1 points per game last season, and senior center Kaylee McGrath, who averaged 12.7 points and 6.8 rebounds a year ago. … This game will mark the debut of Jennifer Roos as head coach of the Falcons. Roos, who was an assistant at BG since 2001, did lead the team for two games last season, wins at Central Michigan and home against Northern Illinois.
