BGSU on the road for NIT
11/15/2012BOWLING GREEN — The BG men’s basketball team will play in the NIT Season Tip-Off Consolation Round Monday and Tuesday at Robert Morris University, which is located in the Pittsburgh suburb of Moon Township, Pa., the tournament said Wednesday.
The Falcons will face the host school at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The Colonials are 1-2, having split two games in the Pittsburgh Regional for the NIT earlier this week.
On Tuesday the Falcons will face NCAA Division II member Alabama-Huntsville at 5 p.m. The Chargers are 2-1.
Bowling Green played its first two NIT games in Ann Arbor, losing 79-73 in overtime to Cleveland State on Monday and 80-66 to IUPUI on Tuesday.
