Austin Dantin threw five touchdown passes to lead Toledo to a 35-23 win over Akron.

Dantin celebrated senior night by completing 29 of 35 passes for 327 yards.

THIRD QUARTER

Neither team scored in the third quarter, and Toledo still leads 21-17.

Akron failed to score on a 17-play drive when it was stopped on an offensive play after switching out of a field goal formation.

SECOND QUARTER

Toledo leads Akron 21-17 at halftime.

Senior quarterback Austin Dantin is 18 for 23 for 248 yards and three touchdowns. Two of his scoring hook ups came with Alonzo Russell (23, 39) and the other was to David Pasquale for 55 yards.

FIRST QUARTER

Toledo trails Akron 10-0 after the first quarter at the Glass Bowl.

The Rockets are without the services of quarterback Terrance Owens and running back David Fluellen, both of whom have ankle injuries.

Senior quarterback Austin Dantin, a two-year starter, got his first start of the season. Dantin is 5 for 7 for 30 yards.
