Fort Wayne, Ind. -- Toledo scored two third period goals to pull away from the Fort Wayne Komets 4-2 tonight.
The Walleye improved to 10-7-0-1 and is 6-2-0-1 on the road this season.
Toledo scored first when Byron Froese sent a pass in front of the Komets net to Terry Broadhurst who scored his third goal of the season at 1:53 of the opening period.
Also scoring in the game was Luke Glendening, who got his team-leading 10th goal of the season late in the second period.
Goaltender Jordan Pearce made 23 saves for the Walleye. He has won five straight starts.
