UT men's basketball tops Siena Heights 98-58
12/18/2012The University of Toledo men's basketball team shot better than 50 percent in both halves Tuesday, beating Siena Heights 98-58 in an exhibition game at Savage Arena.Matt Smith led six Rockets in double figures with 18 points.
Following him were Rian Pearson (17 points), Dominique Buckley (12), Nathan Boothe (11), Josh Lemons (11), and Reese Holliday (10).
The Rockets shot 57 percent in the first half and 52 in the second half.
Walk-on Brendon Schwiebert, who recently joined the program, had nine points on 4 of 6 shooting.
