A switch to a 2-3 zone helped the University of Toledo hold Prairie View A&M to just 11 second-half points Friday in a 76-41 triumph at Savage Arena.
The win gives the Rockets (10-1) the title in the inaugural Toledo Invite.
Point guard Naama Shafir was named MVP after pouring in 25 points, 12 of which came in a row starting at the end of the first half.
Toledo led 38-30 at halftime.
Yolanda Richardson contributed 12 points, and Inma Zanoguera (two points, six rebounds, three steals) was named to the tournament team.
