Pistons lose, trade Prince as 3-team swap brings guard Calderon to fold; 3 Cavs named to Rising Stars Challenge

INDIANAPOLIS — Roy Hibbert had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 98-79 win over Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.

David West scored 14 points and Lance Stephenson added 12 points and 11 boards to help the Pacers snap a three game skid.

Greg Monroe had 18 points and nine rebounds, and Rodney Stuckey scored 14 points for the Pistons, who have lost four of five.

The Pistons played without forwards Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye, who were listed as inactive b and are part of a three-team trade that will send them to the Memphis Grizzlies for Jose Calderon.

The Toronto Raptors gave up Calderon and forward Ed Davis in the deal that also included Grizzlies backup center Hamed Haddadi.

In return, the Raptors got Rudy Gay.

Prince and Daye have both spent their entire careers with Detroit, and Prince was the last link to the proud championship team of 2003-04.

"Trading a player like Tayshaun Prince, who has meant so much to our organization and contributed to our championship success, is never easy," Pistons president Joe Dumars said in a statement. "We want to thank Tayshaun for his professionalism and contributions over the last 10 years."

Irving, 3 Cavs set for Rising Stars game

CLEVELAND — Kyrie Irving won't be going to All-Star weekend alone.

The Cavaliers point guard was selected along with teammates Tristan Thompson and rookies Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller to play in next month's Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star activities in Houston. Irving has already been picked as an All-Star reserve,

Irving was named MVP of the Stars Rising Stars game last season.
