4 players score as Bowling Green Hockey team defeats Lake Superior State

OWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University hockey team defeated Lake Superior State 4-1 at the BGSU Ice Arena tonight.

Dan DeSalvo and Ben Murphy each scored in the third period for the Falcons to break open a one-goal game. Brett Mohler and Dajon Mingo each scored as BG improved to 9-13-5 overall and moved into eighth place in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association with a 6-10-3-1 record and 22 points.

BG's Andrew Hammond made 25 saves, while the Lakers' Kevin Kapalka made 29.
