Owens Express men's, women's basketball teams dominate Sinclair

Men

OWENS 98, SINCLAIR 73

DAYTON — James Kelly poured in 30 points to lead the Express to a road victory over Sinclair Community College.

Kelly also grabbed 13 rebounds while Franklin Lindsey added 15 points. Tony Boykins had 12 points for Owens (18-7, 7-1) while Jay Marquette had 10.

Women

OWENS 71, SINCLAIR 55

DAYTON — The Owens Community College women improved to 19-7 and 6-2 with a win over Sinclair.

Mackenzie Heacock had 15 points to pace the Express while both Emma-Jean Ricketts and Uniqua Mitchell had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Nandi Taylor added 11 points for Owens.
