Scott's 12 points not enough for Lourdes women in 67-56 loss to Cornerstone

CORNERSTONE 67, LOURDES 56

Robin Veltkamp poured in 22 points as the Golden Eagles from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Mich., beat Lourdes University 67-56 at Owens Community College.

The loss drops the Gray Wolves to 9-21 overall and 6-16 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic League. Cornerstone is 19-11 and 13-9 in the WHAC.

Tiffany Scott paced Lourdes with 12 points, Lauren Tilden scored 11, and Ty Ali and Tarynn Hampton both finished with 10 points.
