Rogers has 16 points, 12 rebounds as Bowling Green women get big win against Akron



BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team claimed a 74-61 victory over Akron at the Stroh Center tonight.

Alexis Rogers posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Falcons (17-8, 8-4 Mid-American Conference), while Chrissy Steffen had 17 and Danielle Havel 13.

Sina King scored 15 points while Rachel Tecca added 13 for Akron (17-8, 8-4 MAC).
