Coil's 27 points pace Green Bears as Ottawa Hills beats Toledo Christian 65-50

KANSAS, Ohio -- Ottawa Hills got a combined 48 points from juniors R.J. Coil and Geoff Beans tonight in overpowering Toledo Christian inside and rolled to a 65-50 victory in a Division IV boys district basketball final in a packed Lakota High Scool gym.

The 6-foot-8 Coil scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and the 6-6 Beans had 21 points and seven rebounds for the 21-4 Green Bears.

Ottawa Hills advances to Tuesday's regionals at Bowling Green's Stroh Center.

The Eagles (22-3) got 14 points from Josh Winzeler and 13 from Eric Cellier.
