DETROIT — Simon Pagenaud took over the race lead with 13 laps left in the 70-lap race and held on to win the second race of the Dual in Detroit, part of a weekend IndyCar doubleheader at the Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix.

Drivers ran 22 of the race's first 36 laps under caution, including a stretch that came after a 10-car pileup on the 27th lap, triggered when Sebastien Bourdais made contact with Will Power at Turn 3 of the 2.35-mile road course.

Mike Conway, who won Saturday's race, finished third behind James Jakes. Jakes held off several passing attempts by Conway in the race's final two laps to hold onto second.
