PARMA, Ohio -- Cleveland St. Ignatius broke things open with a 10-run third-inning rally, and rolled to a 14-0 victory over St. Francis de Sales today in a Division I regional baseball final played at Ron Mottl Field at Cuyahoga Community College.

The Wildcats (26-6) carried a 1-0 lead over from when the game began on Friday at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and was suspended because of heavy rains.

St. Ignatius added a run in the second inning off of Knights starter Josh Williams, then unloaded on St. Francis reliever Kenzie Mayo for seven run on six hits and walk.

When the decisive inning was over, the Wildcats had banged out eight hits against Mayo and Miccoy Drzewiecki, including four triples and a double, and owned a commanding 12-0 lead.

The fourth-ranked Knights (29-3) managed only three hits, all singles, off of St. Ignatius pitcher Nick Margevicius, who worked all five innings in the game, which was shortened by mercy rule.

Matt Zmuda had two of St. Francis three hits.
