Sophomore quarterback Logan Heintschel was 10-of-17 for 263 yards and five touchdowns to lead Clay (1-0) over visiting Rogers (0-1) in a nonleague game.

Eagles senior Trey Reddick caught a 38-yard pass for a touchdown and also returned an interception 98 yards for a TD. Senior Adam Ummel had 116 yards receiving, including touchdown catches of 43 and 73 yards.

Senior Jake Novak had three catches for 70 yards, including touchdown receptions of 13 and 50 yards.

Rogers senior quarterback Christian Warren was 4-of-15 for 74 yards and one touchdown.
