Mack scores 30 as Bulldogs rally

Rossford 58, Elmwood 49

BLOOMDALE — Derek Mack scored 30 points Friday night as the Bulldogs took a Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball road win.

Rossford (9-4, 6-1 NBC) trailed 29-21 at halftime but pulled to within 38-36 after three quarters, then outscored the Royals 22-11 in the fourth.

Trevor Solether tallied 14 and Tayte Lentz and Aaron Arnold each got 10 for the Royals (1-10, 0-6).

Lake 71, Woodmore 45

ELMORE — Lake used a balanced attack to remain unbeaten.

Connor Bowen scored 19 to pace the Flyers (13-0, 7-0), while Jared Rettig added 15, Brandyn Neal 13 and Jacob Rettig 10.

Jake Matwiejczyk, Grant Weis and Phil Thorbahn each scored eight points for Woodmore (2-11, 2-5).

Genoa 62, Otsego 59

GENOA — The Comets led 35-20 at halftime and withstood a second-half rally.

The Knights outscored Genoa 19-11 in the final quarter.

Noah Goodrich and Casey Gose led Genoa (5-7, 4-3) with 11 points each.

Jalen Myers tallied 17 for Otsego (5-6, 3-3). Schyler Scherff scored 14.

Eastwood 81, Fostoria 36

FOSTORIA — Jake Schmeltz poured in 24 points as the Eagles cruised.

Grant Peters added 17 for Eastwood (8-4, 4-2) and Zach Jacoby had 11.

Kagen Brown led Fostoria (2-9, 0-6) with 13 points.
