Swanton 34, Rossford 29

SWANTON — Dylan Gilsdorf’s 12-yard touchdown pass to Josh Vance with only three seconds left proved to be the game-winner for Swanton.

Tyler Gowing led the Bulldogs with 14 carries for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Michael Lawniczak had 22 carries for 117 yards and one score.

For Rossford, Kyle Kromenacker found Cam Reynolds on touchdown passes that covered 35, 14, 12, and 19 yards.

Lake 20, Patrick Henry 13

HAMLER — Lake senior quarterback Dawson Delvenphal had a hand in three touchdowns for the Flyers, throwing for two and running for another as Lake held off the Patriots.

After Will Morrow got Patrick Henry on the board in the opening quarter with a 1-yard run, Delvenphal hit Scott Mackiewicz with a 20-yard touchdown strike. He followed that up with a 51-yard scoring pass to Harry Jackson in the second quarter and a 5-yard run to finish the scoring.

Delvenphal was 11-of-12 passing for 209 yards. T.J. Rhamy was 9-of-14 passing and had 93 yards rushing for the Patriots.

Genoa 28, Columbus Bishop Ready 0

COLUMBUS — Jacob Plantz scored on a 7-yard run and returned an interception 80 yards for another to lead the Comets.

Plantz completed 7 of 12 passes for 111 yards. Daniel Novotney had 20 carries for 146 yards, which included a 22-yard score. Jacob Bradfield scored the other touchdown on an 8-yard run.

Ottawa-Glandorf 21, Eastwood 19

OTTAWA — Eastwood scored a touchdown with 67 seconds left, but the two-point conversion failed as the visiting Eagles lost their opening game.

Eastwood trailed 21-6 going into the fourth quarter, getting 37- and 36-yard field goals by Connor Oberhouse. That was before a 62-yard touchdown pass from Gavin Slattman to Ceyleon Damron, followed by Justin Pickerel’s 21-yard touchdown run that got the Eagles with two.

Jasper Scarberry led Ottawa-Glandorf with 23 carries for 142 yards and a 22-yard touchdown run. Clayton Recker had a 4-yard touchdown run, and Jeremy Leopold connected with Will Kaufman on a 58-yard touchdown pass.

Oak Harbor 18, Fostoria 0

OAK HARBOR — Jac Alexander had 16 carries for 112 yards, and scored on runs of 18 and 40 yards to lead the Rockets. Clay Schulte scored Oak Harbor’s other touchdown on a 3-yard run.

Northwood 49, Woodmore 7

Quarterback Jay Moten ran for three touchdowns, passed for two more, and led the Rangers to a home win.

Moten ran five times for 146 yards, which included touchdown runs of 48, 5, and 91 yards. He also completed 7 of 10 passes for 190 yards, with scores covering 82 yards to Austin Cole and 42 yards to Demond Marks.

The Rangers also scored on a 32-yard fumble return by Tyler Hughes and a 2-yard run by Anthony Williams.
