Playing on the road in City League boys basketball can be intimidating. A packed gymnasium Friday night at Rogers presented such a test for Scott. The Bulldogs met the challenge head on as senior guard Chris Harris led the way to a 68-57 victory with 26 points, 16 in the second half. PHOTO GALLERY

“Findlay’s a tough team to play, and when you play them here it makes it 10 times tougher,” Central Catholic standout DeShone Kizer said. “It looked like the whole community came out, and when you’re playing against not only five guys on the court but the rest of the crowd, it’s kind of tough.” Yet the Irish are nothing if not tested lately, and this time they passed it going away in a 50-47 victory.
