CRYSTAL UPDATE: Details are starting to emerge on American Idol runner-up's first album, including the track listing and the cover art. The Elliston, Ohio, native's first release will be called “Farmer's Daughter,” and folks who saw her play around Toledo over the years will probably recognize a few of the songs, including the title track and “Holy Toledo.” Due for release Dec. 14, the disc will feature mostly original songs either written or co-written by Bowersox. According to Amazon.com, the disc will feature eight songs written by her, two songs that have co-writer credits, a cover of Buffalo Springfield's' “For What It's Worth,” and a track written by former Idol judge Kara Dio Guardi and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. One of the co-written songs is “Mason,” which the site said Bowersox wrote with her husband, singer/songwriter Brian Walker. The entire track listing is “Ridin' With the Radio,” “For What It's Worth,” “Farmer's Daughter,” “Holy Toledo,” “Lonely,” “Hold On,” “On the Run,” “Kiss Ya,” “Speak Now,” “Mine All Mine,” “Mason,” and “Arlene.” The disc was produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach).
