TC wins in overtime in new gym; Maumee Valley edges Ottawa Hills

Toledo Christian 45, Gibsonburg 44

The Eagles opened their new gymnasium Tuesday night with a big victory in Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Cameron Stewart scored a basket to force overtime, and Josh Winzeler's free throw was the winning point for the Eagles (9-5, 7-3).

Eric Cellier and Ben Ivan had 12 and Dominique Pittman 10 for Toledo Christian (9-5, 7-3 TAAC).

Dylan Dorfmeyer with 16, Gage Beaber with 11 and Nate Yarborough with 10 paced the Golden Bears (12-3, 8-2).

Rick Deichert scored 16, Jared Sturt 12 and Dave Brown and Julius Turner 11 for the Hawks (14-1, 9-1 TAAC).

The Green Bears (7-8, 5-5) were led by Geoffrey Beans with 18 and A.J. King and Lucas Janowicz with 10.

Ryan Creech poured in 28 points in for the Warriors (8-8, 5-5 TAAC).

Jason Regnier chipped in 15 points and Bobby Behan added 10 points.

Kelsey Conner scored 15 and Mike Blazevich added 12 for the Cardinals (6-9, 3-7).

Shaq Allen pumped 21 points and Dontonio Kynard chipped in 17 as the Bulldogs rolled Tuesday night in City League boys basketball.

Delaquan Norwood added 10 points for Scott (10-6, 7-2 CL).

Travon Howard scored 18 points and Kevin Carter added 10 for Waite (2-14, 1-8).

Start 45, Woodward 41

The Spartans outscored the Polar Bears 14-9 in the fourth quarter to win.

James Grays tallied 12 points to lead Start (10-5, 5-4 CL) .

Mike Gary pumped in 11 points for Woodward (2-13, 0-9).

DEXTER -- Jackson Lamb scored 24 and Ryan Rightnowar 18 for the Mules (10-4, 5-2 Southeast Conference).

Mike Mioduszewski paced Dexter (5-9, 2-5) with 16 points.

Findlay 78, Lima Senior 42

FINDLAY -- C.J. Gettys scored 21 points to lead the Trojans (10-5, 6-4 TRAC). Michael Clark added 14 and Joseph Davidson 13.

Jerry Hutchinson paced the Spartans (3-12, 2-8) with 10.

Anthony Wayne 54, Bryan 41

Mark Donnal paced the Generals (13-4) with 20 points and Matt Fox added 14.

Aaron Bruot led the Golden Bears (6-10) with 13 points.

Nathan Walton scored 20 and Zach Black and Trevor Hester each had 15 for the Thunder (6-10).
