Rebels capture 2nd straight City League title
Bowsher jumped out to a 30-0 halftime advantage en route to a 46-0 drubbing of Start before a Rebels home crowd. "It's been a great season and now we sit and wait to see if the football gods try to get the playoffs our way," Bowsher coach Craig Lubinski said. "It's been a great season and this [league championship] has been one of our goals for this year. The kids came to play tonight."
Mules stay unbeaten with playoff win
Bedford was a model of football efficiency Friday night, grinding out 335 yards of offense and scoring one touchdown in each quarter in taking a 28-6 victory over visiting Westland John Glenn in a Michigan Division 1 first-round playoff game.
Bobcats start fast, roll to playoff win
The Whiteford football team expected its first playoff game to be a battle Friday night. But a combination of opponent injuries, a fast start, and a physical style of play allowed the Bobcats to enjoy a 59-6 romp over Sterling Heights Parkway Christian in a Michigan Division 8 first-round playoff game.
Southview dominates Northview in battle of Sylvania
Southview scored on the first play of the game Friday night at Cats Stadium and rolled over rival Northview. The Cougars’ Keith Gilmore returned the opening kick 100 yards for a score and Southview never looked back in a 40-0 shutout.
