Summer arrives today at 6:34 p.m., so make plans to enjoy the great outdoors. You’ll have more daylight today than any other day of year, with 15 hours, 12 minutes and 17 seconds from sunrise to sunset. This photo, taken on the first day of summer, June 21, 1965, by Blade photographer Don Flory, captured some youngsters outside and having fun. These young people were busy keeping the swing set next to Highland Park Pool in South Toledo moving.
