The ceremonial courtroom was the only room inside the U.S. District Courthouse, located in downtown Toledo, with the purpose of being a courtroom when the building was erected. The courthouse, originally built between 1930 and 1933, is outdated. With concerns about security and space, a renovation is being proposed for Bankruptcy Court, with a new addition built to house the District Court.
